I made some jewelry animations in Keyshot using the Animation Wizard option.

Emerald Ring:

Nice! Maybe this is technique also works well for jewelry animations, instead of rotating the ring or moving the camera you can also rotate the HDRI background. The topic is about an controller but I think it also could work very well for a ring. Especially when you want to give the viewer an idea on what parts are real shiny and what is a bit more rough.
